These terms are an agreement between you and NSD Not So Different ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the uPebbl app. By using the app, you agree to them. We've tried to keep them short and plain.
0. Who we are
uPebbl is a product of NSD Not So Different, a business based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@upebbl.com.
1. The service
uPebbl is a calming emotional wellbeing companion. It offers gentle reminders, ambient soundscapes, a bedtime signal, and prompts toward kindness and connection. It is not a medical, clinical, or crisis service.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your password safe and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use the app to harm yourself or others.
- Don't try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the app.
- Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Premium subscriptions are described on the pricing page and governed by our Subscription Terms.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com Market Limitedis the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
5. Content and IP
We own the app, brand, and content. You're granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. Anything you create in the app stays yours.
6. Disclaimers
uPebbl is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running but we don't promise uninterrupted service. uPebbl does not replace professional mental health care. If you are in crisis, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123 (UK) or your local emergency services.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using uPebbl at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
