Google Play requires 20 people with Gmail or Google accounts to test the Android app for 14 days before it can go live. iOS testers are welcome too for the first TestFlight build.

Android testers must use a Gmail or Google account address — Google Play cannot send the invite to other providers.

No spam. You can leave the test at any time. By joining, you agree to receive a single invite email.

Why the number might not change

  • Not a Gmail/Google address: Google Play can only send closed-test invites to Gmail or Google Workspace accounts. Hotmail, Yahoo, iCloud etc. are welcome on the iOS list, but do not count toward the 20 Android testers.
  • Wrong device selected: Choose Android or Both. iOS-only testers are not counted in the Android total.
  • Already signed up: Duplicate emails are not counted twice. The signup still counts as support — it just won't increase the number.
  • Signed up on an old link: Only sign-ups at https://upebbl.com/testers count. Old preview links redirect here, but if someone still has a cached preview app installed, they may need to uninstall and re-open the correct link.
  • Page cache: The count is cached for five minutes. If you just got a new signup, refresh the page after a few minutes to see it.
